This summer we are limited on the amount of fundays we can run due to building work at schools.

The first one we have scheduled (possibly the only one), is at Thurlbear Primary School on 2nd July 2014.

This summer we are trying something different, 'Bring your parents to Judo day'!  That's right - bring your parent to Judo so they can have a go on the mat with you.  They will be taught how to safely land, roll, throw and hold.  They will NOT get hurt.

This day will have a minimum amount to run so please book your place soon.  

Prices are:

• Children full-day - £20
• Child half-day - £10
• Adult half-day - £10

As part of Minehead First School's PE activity week Macs School of Judo was invited to come and perform taster sessions to all 280 pupils at the school.  Right from year R to year 5.

It was an entertaining week with very willing teachers to be demonstrated on and enthusiastic children to participate!

You can imagine my complete delight when I was handed an envelope full of thank you notes from students in the school.  Shown to the left here is a letter from Riley at the school.

Whole school taster sessions are becoming more and more popular and is a great way to give your students an opportunity to try a new sport with the safety of a qualified, experienced coach.
