Once every term we grade the students if they wish to be graded.  There is a cost involved, as stated on the Costing page. The cost for the license is £12 (4 month trial) or £27 for a full year license (paid to the BJA) and the grading costs is £20 (payable to MACS).

We like to grade everyone who has attended for at least 5 weeks as we feel they are ready, in order to grade the children they would need a license with the British Judo Association.

New license

1. Click on the https://britishjudo.secure.force.com/membership/New_And_Renewal
2. Select Not an existing member
3. Fill in the contact information and select 'Western Area' as the area and choose "MACS School of Judo " as the club
4. Select the membership type of "Pay As You Throw Junior New £12" or the "Yearly license £27" for each applicant
5. Complete the application including payment

renew license

1. Click on the https://britishjudo.secure.force.com/membership/New_And_Renewal
2. Select Yes as existing member
3. Fill-in the BJA membership number (found on the membership card) and date of birth
   
4. Fill in the contact information and Choose "MACS School of Judo (8249)" as the club
   
5. Select the membership type of "Full year renewal junior" for each applicant
   
6. Complete the application including payment
