Judo at Somerset College

MACS School of Judo at Somerset College - Taunton

MACS School of Judo has now started teaching at Somerset College in Taunton. We have been asked to come and teach a mixture of Judo & Self-Defence as well as running a lunchtime club.

So far, we have an excellent turnout from the Public Service and Sports courses, hopefully the lunchtime club will grow over the coming weeks and months.

Hi,
My son has done judo in Devon with Ruth Goldman for 8 years. He is planning to go to Richard Huish and I understand you teach judo there. He is now a senior. Was a brown belt with 3 blue bars and won bronze at the national finals in High Wycombe this year. Will you be teaching at Huish next year?If so would it be the right level or would he have to attend a seniors?

Hi,

I understand that the coaches at Richard Huish wanted to get back to you so they told me that they would reply!

I'm pretty sure there won't be a regular judo club at Richard Huish, however I can recommend the adult class at Wellington Sports Centre on a Saturday at 11am if that's any good?
